Missouri Synod Church in Downtown Memphis

Worship

There is no more important aspect of our ministry than worship.  It’s what we do as a people of God, and where we gather to receive His gifts of grace, salvation, and eternal life.  Here’s an overview of our worship offerings:

Sunday Morning Divine Service

This service is the highlight of our week here at Trinity.  We follow the historic liturgy of the Christian Church, which means that this service carries a traditional tone and character, while also being engaging and accessible to all people from all worship backgrounds.  In other words, whether you’re famliar with Lutheran worship or not, you’ll find this time to be meaningful and easy to follow along with.  Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month.

Gather in the Garden

Throughout the year, there are special days in the life of Christ’s Church that don’t fall on a Sunday.  For these occassions, we like to gather in our garden right outside the church building on Washington Avenue (it’s visible from the street – you can’t miss it) for a time of reflection and prayer from 12:15-12:30.  It’s the perfect opportunity to re-center your day in Christ.  For a full schedule of Gather in the Garden events and services, check out our calendar page.

Service of Annointing and Wholeness

Four times a year, we gather in our sanctuary for a time of reflection on Christ’s work of bringing healing, wholeness, and restoration to His people.  Our next service will be held on Sunday, October 7th at 4:00pm.  Whether you’re suffering from physical, spiritual, or emotional turmoil, we invite you to join us as we look at the complete work of Christ in our broken lives.
