Out of all the responsibilities parents have in raising their children, leading them to know and connect with Jesus for life is the most important. We know it can sometimes be a challenge bringing young children to church, but we commend and thank you for doing it!
At Trinity, we value your whole family. We believe church is a place for the whole family to connect with Jesus and His family of faith. It’s often said children are the future of the church. We believe that children are also the “present” of the church. When baptized into Christ Jesus, even the youngest child is connected to Jesus and is a member of His body, the Church, a child of God! Therefore, we want and encourage you to bring your children to worship. When you bring them to the worship service, they learn from you how important the Lord and worship of Him is. They see and hear what’s happening, and yes, and grow in faith, even when they can’t verbalize what’s happening or “actively” participate.
As part of our worship, we set aside special time during the service for a message specifically for children.
If you need it, we have activity bags available to help keep your young children occupied during the service. We also have a cry room and a staffed nursery for children ages 4 and under if you feel the need to take your young child out of the sanctuary.
Between our two services, we have Connecting2Christ study groups (Sunday School and Bible Study) for ages 3 and up. We invite you to have your child(ren) participate in the group appropriate for their age(s). We offer two Preschool through Kindergarten age classes, one in English and one in Spanish. Parents are encouraged to join the class with their 3 or 4-year-olds. Otherwise, while your children are in their group(s), we invite you to join our adult Connecting2Christ group led by Pastor Croom.
